March 4, 2022: Hammond, LA 70401 St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons (Hammond, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Sam Houston Broncos (Lake Charles, LA), 4-3 in a league test.
With the win, St. Thomas Aquinas upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Falcons travel to Barbe (Lake Charles, LA) to battle the Buccaneers in a non-league test on Saturday, March 5. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 10-0. Barbe won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Mandeville (Mandeville, LA)
With the defeat, Sam Houston falls to 4-2 on the season. The Broncos host Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA) to battle the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Friday, March 4.
