March 4, 2022: Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA) and the visiting Vistamar Vikings (El Segundo, CA), saw Peninsula's volleyball squad beat Vistamar by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Peninsula upgrades its record to 5-5 on the year. The Panthers host Banning (Wilmington, CA) to play the Pilots in a non-league bout on Monday, March 7. The Pilots go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Banning lost 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Balboa College Prep (Lake Balboa, CA)
The Vikings now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hawthorne Math & Science Academy for a Coastal bout on Thursday, March 10. Vistamar will play a The Aviators squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA). The The Aviators record now stands at 3-4.
