The St. Rose Purple Roses (Belmar, NJ) basketball nipped the host Bishop Eustace Prep Crusaders (Pennsauken, NJ), 33-28 in Friday's non-league test.

The Purple Roses (13-9) will now prepare for their test against Rutgers Prep (Somerset, NJ). The Argonauts go into the non-league test with a 22-2 record. In their last test, Rutgers Prep got by Holy Spirit (Absecon, NJ), 75-15, in a non-league test.
