New Mexico High School Basketball - Carlsbad nips Cleveland
March 4, 2022: Rio Rancho, NM 87144 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Carlsbad Cavemen (Carlsbad, NM) and the host Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM), saw Carlsbad's basketball squad hold off Cleveland by a tally of 36-34.
With the victory, Carlsbad improves its record to 22-7 on the campaign. The Cavemen travel to Hobbs (Hobbs, NM) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 8. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 21-7. Hobbs won 64-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM)
