Georgia High School Soccer - Pickens knocks off Cedartown
March 4, 2022: Jasper, GA 30143 Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Cedartown Bulldogs (Cedartown, GA), 7-1 in a league test.
The Dragons now sport a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Cass for a non-league test on Monday, March 7. Pickens will meet a Colonels squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Cartersville (Cartersville, GA). The Colonels record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, Cedartown drops to 3-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA) to meet the Raiders in a AAAA Region 7 test on Tuesday, March 8. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 8-0. Southeast Whitfield County won 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Ringgold (Ringgold, GA)
