Alabama High School Soccer - Chelsea nudges Shades Valley
March 4, 2022: Birmingham, AL 35210 Chelsea Hornets (Chelsea, AL) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Shades Valley Mounties (Birmingham, AL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hornets confront the Stanhope Elmore Mustangs (Millbrook, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 7. Chelsea will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 4-3 league win over Benjamin Russell (Alexander City, AL).
The Mounties now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Carver Birmingham for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 8. Shades Valley will confront a Rams team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Hueytown (Hueytown, AL). The Rams record now stands at 5-1.
