Texas High School Softball - Frenship can't get by Azle
March 4, 2022: Wolfforth, TX 79382 The Azle Hornets softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Frenship Tigers to 6 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Azle moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Hornets travel to Lovejoy (Lucas, TX) to play the Leopards in a non-league game on Friday, March 4. The Leopards come into the game with a record of 5-5. Lovejoy lost 4-2 in their recent non-league game against V.R. Eaton (Fort Worth, TX)
In their next game, the Tigers play the Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 game, on Saturday, March 5. Frenship will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 10-2 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Rio Vista (Rio Vista, TX).
