March 4, 2022: Salado, TX 76571 The Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) softball routed the visiting Bastrop Bears (Bastrop, TX), 16-2 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their bout against LBJ Austin (Austin, TX). The Jaguars go into the non-league bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, LBJ Austin was routed by Elgin (Elgin, TX), 16-1, in a non-league bout.
The Bears now possess a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to East View for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 5. Bastrop will confront a Patriots squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 7-5.
