March 4, 2022: Boyd, TX 76023 The Melissa Cardinals routed the host Boyd Yellowjackets softball squad by a final score of 11-2 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Cardinals (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Estacado (Lubbock, TX). The Matadors go into the non-league battle with a 6-12 record. In their last battle, Estacado notched a victory over Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX), 7-4, in a non-league battle.
The Yellowjackets now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Saginaw for a non-league battle on Friday, March 4. Boyd will confront a Rough Riders squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Estacado (Lubbock, TX). The Rough Riders record now stands at 4-6.
