Texas High School Softball - Crawford bounces Rio Vista
March 4, 2022: Crawford, TX 76638 Crawford Pirates (Crawford, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Rio Vista Eagles (Rio Vista, TX), 22-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blooming Grove for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. Crawford will battle a Lions squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Buffalo (Buffalo, TX). The Lions record now stands at 9-2.
With the loss, Rio Vista falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Navasota (Navasota, TX) to battle the Rattlers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. The Rattlers enter the challenge with a record of 0-4. Navasota lost 8-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Latexo (Latexo, TX)
