Ennis Lions (Ennis, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Ford Panthers (Quinlan, TX), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Ferris for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. Ennis will battle a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 5-0.
