Texas High School Softball - Franklin bounces Leon
March 4, 2022: Jewett, TX 75846 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Franklin Lions (Franklin, TX) and the host Leon Cougars (Jewett, TX), witnessed Franklin's softball squad prevail over Leon by a count of 18-3.
The Lions now sport a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Madisonville for a non-league match on Friday, March 4. Franklin will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to New Waverly (New Waverly, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Leon moves to 1-5 on the season. The Cougars travel to Burton (Burton, TX) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Friday, March 4. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 5-4. Burton won 3-2 in their recent league match against Snook (Snook, TX)
