March 4, 2022: Liberty, TX 77575 The Liberty Panthers softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Kingwood Park Panthers to 0 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Liberty moves its record to 15-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX) to clash with the Hawks in a 4A Region III District 21 game on Tuesday, March 8. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 1-1. Hardin-Jefferson lost 4-3 in their recent non-league game against Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX)
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Cleveland Indians (Cleveland, TX) in a 5A Region III District 20 game, on Tuesday, March 8. Kingwood Park will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 7-12 record after their 10-4 non-league loss to MacArthur (Houston, TX).
