March 4, 2022: Mayer, AZ 86333 The Mayer Wildcats routed the visiting Red Mesa Redskins softball squad by a count of 16-5 in Friday's league battle.
The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Red Rock (Sedona, AZ). The Scorpions go into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Red Rock was routed by Chino Valley (Chino Valley, AZ), 29-0, in a non-league battle.
The Redskins now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Ash Fork for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 8. Red Mesa will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 22-0 non-league loss to St. Michael (St. Michaels, AZ). The Spartans record now stands at 0-2.
