Millbrook Wildcats (Raleigh, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC), 6-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Millbrook upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Sanderson (Raleigh, NC) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 7. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 1-1. Sanderson won 10-6 in their recent non-league battle against Panther Creek (Cary, NC)

The Patriots now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Green Level for a Southwest Wake 4A battle on Monday, March 6. Apex Friendship will play a Gators squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Gators record now stands at 0-2.
