In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Reicher Catholic Cougars (Waco, TX) baseball squad the host La Vega Pirates (Waco, TX), by a final score of 8-3.

With the win, Reicher Catholic upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Hill Country Christian School of Austin (Austin, TX) to battle the Knights in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 7. The Knights come into the test with a record of 3-10. Hill Country Christian School of Austin won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Brazos Christian (Bryan, TX)
