Texas High School Baseball - Memorial nips Burleson
March 4, 2023: Frisco, TX 75033 Memorial Warriors (Frisco, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX), 6-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Memorial upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to Sherman (Sherman, TX) to battle the Bearcats in a non-league test on Thursday, March 9. The Bearcats come into the test with a record of 6-3. Sherman won 9-6 in their recent non-league test against McKinney (McKinney, TX)
With the defeat, Burleson falls to 7-2 on the season. The Elks travel to Centennial (Burleson, TX) to battle the Spartans in a 5A Region I District 8 test on Tuesday, March 7. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 7-2. Centennial 5-5 in their recent non-league test against Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX)
