March 4, 2023: Upland, CA 91786 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Western Christian Fighting Lancers (Upland, CA) and the visiting Rancho Verde Mustangs (Moreno Valley, CA), saw Western Christian's volleyball squad nip Rancho Verde by a tally of 1-0.
With the win, Western Christian upgrades its record to 9-5 on the year. The Fighting Lancers host Citrus Valley (Redlands, CA) to play the Blackhawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 7. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Citrus Valley lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Aquinas (San Bernardino, CA)
The Mustangs now own a 11-2 record. They play next when they host Orange Vista for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 7. Rancho Verde will play a Coyotes squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Lakeside (Lake Elsinore, CA). The Coyotes record now stands at 3-1.
