Texas High School Softball - Shepherd nudges Cleveland
March 4, 2023: Cleveland, TX 77327 Shepherd Pirates (Shepherd, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Cleveland Indians (Cleveland, TX), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Onalaska for a 3A Region III District 23 challenge on Tuesday, March 7.
With the loss, Cleveland falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Indians host Orangefield (Orangefield, TX) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 4.
