Texas High School Softball - Del Valle bounces Los Fresnos
March 4, 2023: Del Valle, TX 78617 The Del Valle Cardinals (Del Valle, TX) softball routed the visiting Los Fresnos Falcons (Los Fresnos, TX), 12-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Cardinals (8-6) will now prepare for their bout against Lake Travis (Austin, TX). The Cavaliers go into the 6A Region IV District 26 bout with a 9-11 record. In their last bout, Lake Travis was routed by Rouse (Leander, TX), 4-2, in a non-league bout.
The Falcons now possess a 17-3 record. They play next when they host Edinburg for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 7. Los Fresnos will confront a Bobcats squad coming off a 10-4 non-league win over Hanna (Brownsville, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-10.
