Texas High School Softball - Early bounces La Grange
March 4, 2023: Early, TX 76802 The Early Longhorns routed the visiting La Grange Leopards softball squad by a final score of 7-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Longhorns (13-3) will now prepare for their battle against Eastland (Eastland, TX). The Mavericks go into the 3A Region I District 8 battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Eastland nudged Alvord (Alvord, TX), 14-5, in a non-league battle.
The Leopards now possess a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Sealy for a non-league battle on Friday, March 10. La Grange will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 14-2 league loss to El Campo (El Campo, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 4-5.
