The Hornets (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Carthage (Carthage, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Carthage held off Malakoff (Malakoff, TX), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Loboes now possess a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Permian for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 7. Monahans will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 5-5 non-league Lewisville (Lewisville, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 4-3.
