Texas High School Softball - West Mesquite holds off Lake Highlands
March 4, 2023: Dallas, TX 75238 West Mesquite Wranglers (Mesquite, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX), 9-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Wranglers now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Poteet for a 5A Region II District 12 challenge on Tuesday, March 7.
With the loss, Lake Highlands falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Berkner (Richardson, TX) to battle the Rams in a 6A Region I District 7 challenge on Monday, March 13. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 1-10.
