March 4, 2023: Natchitoches, LA 71457 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Natchitoches Central Chiefs (Natchitoches, LA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting St. Michael Warriors (Baton Rouge, LA), by a margin of 15-0.
With the triumph, Natchitoches Central moves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Chiefs travel to Southwood (Shreveport, LA) to meet the Cowboys in a 5A District 1 battle on Thursday, March 23. The Cowboys go into the battle with a record of 0-8.
The Warriors now sport a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Port Allen for a non-league battle on Monday, March 6. St. Michael will meet a Pelicans squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Livonia (Livonia, LA). The Pelicans record now stands at 1-3.
