Arkansas High School Softball - Rogers gets by Pine Tree
March 4, 2023: Rogers, AR 72758 The Rogers Mountaineers (Rogers, AR) softball nipped the visiting Pine Tree Pirates (Longview, TX), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Mountaineers (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Fayetteville (Fayetteville, AR). The Bulldogs go into the 6A West bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Fayetteville was edged by Russellville (Russellville, AR), 20-8, in a non-league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 15-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sabine for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 4. Pine Tree will confront a Cardinals squad coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Harleton (Harleton, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-5.
