Alabama High School Softball - Tharptown knocked off by Tishomingo County
March 4, 2023: Russellville, AL 35654 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Tishomingo County Braves (Iuka, MS) softball team overwhelmed the host Tharptown Wildcats (Russellville, AL), by a margin of 13-0.
With the triumph, Tishomingo County moves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Braves travel to Brewer (Somerville, AL) to play the Patriots in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 4. The Patriots come into the contest with a record of 4-1. Brewer lost 5-1 in their recent non-league contest against Cullman (Cullman, AL)
In their next game, the Wildcats play the Winston County Yellowjackets (Double Springs, AL) in a 2A Area 10 contest, on Thursday, March 9. Tharptown will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record.
