Georgia High School Soccer - Greater Atlanta Christian knocks off Centennial
March 4, 2024: Norcross, GA 30093 Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans (Norcross, GA) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Centennial Knights (Roswell, GA), 5-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Spartans face the Kell Longhorns (Marietta, GA) in a 5A Region 6 challenge, on Wednesday, March 6. Greater Atlanta Christian will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Longhorns enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Kennesaw Mountain (Kennesaw, GA).
The Knights now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Cambridge for a 5A Region 6 challenge on Friday, March 8. Centennial will face a Bears team coming off a 1-0 league win over Northview (Johns Creek, GA). The Bears record now stands at 3-2.
