The St. Joseph Academy Flashes baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Matanzas Pirates to 0 in the Flashes non-league win on Tuesday.

The Flashes now hold a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Fletcher for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 5. St. Joseph Academy will play a Senators team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Sandalwood (Jacksonville, FL). The Senators record now stands at 5-4.

With the defeat, Matanzas drops to 0-9 on the year. The Pirates travel to Interlachen (Interlachen, FL) to play the Rams in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 5. The Rams go into the test with a record of 5-3. Interlachen won 12-2 in their recent non-league test against West Port (Ocala, FL)
