The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Pacific Ridge Firebirds (Carlsbad, CA) and the visiting Saddleback Roadrunners (Santa Ana, CA), observed Pacific Ridge's basketball team overcome Saddleback by a margin of 65-48.

The Firebirds (29-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Math & Science College Preparatory (Los Angeles, CA). The Sharks come into the non-league challenge with a 23-7 record. In their last challenge, Math & Science College Preparatory defeated Arroyo (El Monte, CA), 69-48, in a non-league challenge.
