Arizona High School Volleyball - South Mountain bounced by Desert Sunrise
March 4, 2025: Maricopa, AZ 85138 Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks (Maricopa, AZ) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Desert Sunrise improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Golden Hawks travel to Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ) to face the Wildcats in a 4A East Sky test on Thursday, March 6. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 1-0. Mesquite won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ)
The Jaguars now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gilbert for a non-league test on Thursday, March 6. South Mountain will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Westwood (Mesa, AZ). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
