March 4, 2025: Lakeland, FL 33809 The Lake Gibson Braves flag football squad scored 19 points and limited the visiting McKeel Academy Wildcats to 0 in the Braves non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Braves now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to George Jenkins for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. Lake Gibson will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 39-0 league win over Ridge Community (Davenport, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.
With the defeat, McKeel Academy drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Lake Region (Eagle Lake, FL) to meet the Thunder in a non-league test on Friday, March 7. The Thunder come into the test with a record of 1-2. Lake Region lost 32-0 in their recent non-league test against Davenport (Davenport, FL)
