North Carolina High School Soccer - Alexander Central nudged by St. Stephens
March 4, 2025: Hickory, NC 28601 St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, St. Stephens moves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Freedom (Morganton, NC) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league test on Monday, March 17. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Cougars now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Iredell for a non-league test on Thursday, March 6. Alexander Central will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Asheville (Asheville, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 0-2.
