South Carolina High School Soccer - Clinton toppled by Emerald
March 4, 2025: Greenwood, SC 29646 Emerald Vikings (Greenwood, SC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Clinton Red Devils (Clinton, SC), 7-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Emerald moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Wren (Piedmont, SC) to clash with the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Monday, March 10. The Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 1-0.
The Red Devils now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodruff for a non-league test on Friday, March 7. Clinton will clash with a Wolverines team coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Spartanburg (Spartanburg, SC). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-1.
