In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) soccer team edged the visiting Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC), by a count of 1-0.

Next, the Gryphons battle the Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A contest, on Thursday, March 6.
