Tennessee High School Soccer - Cocke County knocks off Cosby
March 4, 2025: Newport, TN 37821 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Cocke County Fighting Cocks soccer squad scored a nice 9-0 victory over the Cosby Eagles.
The Fighting Cocks (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Morristown-Hamblen East (Morristown, TN). The Hurricanes go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Morristown-Hamblen East prevailed over Morristown-Hamblen West (Morristown, TN), 1-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Eagles play the Cherokee Chiefs (Rogersville, TN) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, March 6. Cosby will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Chiefs go into the outing with a 1-0 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Union County (Maynardville, TN).
