In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) baseball squad edged the visiting Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC), by a tally of 5-4.

Next up, the Chargers encounter the Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, March 11. Cox Mill will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Huskies enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 12-1 league win over West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).
