The Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle baseball squad (Draper, UT), was overwhelmed 14-10 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Payson Lions (Payson, UT)

With the triumph, Payson moves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lions host Uintah (Vernal, UT) to confront the Utes in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 7. The Utes enter the battle with a record of 1-0. Uintah won 13-3 in their recent non-league battle against South Summit (Kamas, UT)

Next, the Soaring Eagle face the Lone Peak Knights (Highland, UT) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 9. Juan Diego Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
