Louisiana High School Softball - Willow bounces McDonogh 35
March 4, 2026: New Orleans, LA 70115 The Willow Lions softball team scored 28 runs and held the visiting McDonogh 35 Roneagles to 4 in the Lions non-league win on Wednesday.
The Lions now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. James for a non-league battle on Friday, March 6. Willow will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Berwick (Berwick, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-8.
With the loss, McDonogh 35 moves to 0-6 on the season. The Roneagles host Kennedy (New Orleans, LA) to meet the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 5. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Kennedy lost 22-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Frederick A. Douglass (New Orleans, LA)
