The Taft Toreadors softball squad (Woodland Hills, CA), was edged 7-6 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA)

With the triumph, Sylmar improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Spartans host Poly (Sun Valley, CA) to face the Parrots in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 5. The Parrots enter the contest with a record of 1-0. Poly won 12-8 in their recent non-league match against Sherman Oaks CES (Reseda, CA)

In their next game, the Toreadors battle the North Hollywood Huskies (North Hollywood, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 6. Taft will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record.
