The River Ridge Knights lacrosse team scored 17 points and held the visiting Mount Paran Christian Eagles to 3 in the Knights non-league win on Friday.

The Knights (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Woodstock (Woodstock, GA). The Wolverines go into the 6A-7A Area 5 game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, Woodstock achieved victory over Sequoyah (Canton, GA), 19-7, in a non-league contest.

The Eagles now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Darlington for a 1A-5A Area 3 contest on Tuesday, March 9. Mount Paran Christian will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 12-9 non-league loss to Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
