Davenport Wolves (San Antonio, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host McCallum Knights (Austin, TX), 15-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolves now sport a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lockhart for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 5. Davenport will face a Lions squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin (Austin, TX). The Lions record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, McCallum falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Navarro (Austin, TX) to face the Vikings in a 5A Region III District 17 challenge on Tuesday, March 9.
