Alabama High School Baseball - Fort Dale Academy defeats Abbeville Christian Academy
March 5, 2022: Abbeville, AL 36310 Fort Dale Academy Eagles (Greenville, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Abbeville Christian Academy Generals (Abbeville, AL), 7-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Fort Dale Academy upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Eagles travel to Clarke Prep (Grove Hill, AL) to battle the Gators in a AISA AA Region 2 Area 1 test on Thursday, March 10. The Gators come into the test with a record of 1-0. Clarke Prep won 7-4 in their recent non-league test against Macon-East Montgomery Academy (Cecil, AL)
With the defeat, Abbeville Christian Academy falls to 2-4 on the season. The Generals host Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Monday, March 7. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 4-1. Southwest Georgia Academy won 22-2 in their recent non-league test against Byne Christian (Albany, GA)
