East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Brandeis Broncos (San Antonio, TX), 6-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, East Central upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Hornets travel to Davenport (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Wolves in a non-league test on Thursday, March 10. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 2-2. Davenport lost 7-1 in their recent non-league test against Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX)

With the defeat, Brandeis falls to 4-4 on the season. The Broncos travel to Johnson (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Jaguars in a 6A Region IV District 28 test on Tuesday, March 8. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 2-0. Johnson won 5-0 in their recent league test against Clark (San Antonio, TX)
