March 5, 2022: Long Beach, CA 90813 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits (Long Beach, CA) and the visiting Cathedral Phantoms (Los Angeles, CA), saw Long Beach Poly's baseball squad knock off Cathedral by a count of 18-6.
Coming up next, the Jackrabbits play the Jordan Panthers (Long Beach, CA) in a Moore battle, on Wednesday, March 9. Long Beach Poly will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 3-4 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to St. Margaret's (San Juan Capistrano, CA).
The Phantoms now possess a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Salle for a Del Rey battle on Tuesday, March 8. Cathedral will play a Lancers squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 3-4.
