March 5, 2022: Cordele, GA 31015 Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Shaw Raiders (Columbus, GA), 17-16 in a non-league test.
With the win, Crisp County upgrades its record to 1-6 on the season. The Cougars travel to Sumter County (Americus, GA) to battle the Panthers in a AAA Region 2 test on Tuesday, March 8. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 3-4.
With the defeat, Shaw falls to 1-6 on the season. The Raiders host Carver (Columbus, GA) to battle the Tigers in a AAAA Region 2 test on Tuesday, March 8. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-6. Carver lost 15-0 in their recent non-league test against Stratford Academy (Macon, GA)
