March 5, 2022: Lubbock, TX 79403 Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting New Deal Lions (New Deal, TX), 14-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Estacado upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Matadors host Pecos (Pecos, TX) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, March 5. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-1.
With the defeat, New Deal falls to 1-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Floydada (Floydada, TX) to battle the Whirlwinds in a 2A Region I District 3 test on Tuesday, March 15. The Whirlwinds come into the test with a record of 2-5.
