March 5, 2022: Torrance, CA 90503 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Bishop Montgomery Knights (Torrance, CA) and the visiting Laguna Blanca Owls (Santa Barbara, CA), saw Bishop Montgomery's volleyball squad nip Laguna Blanca by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Bishop Montgomery upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Knights travel to St. Margaret's (San Juan Capistrano, CA) to play the Tartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 5. The Tartans go into the bout with a record of 6-1. St. Margaret's won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA)
The Owls now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Foothill Tech for a Tri-Valley bout on Tuesday, March 8. Laguna Blanca will play a Dragons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Carpinteria (Carpinteria, CA). The Dragons record now stands at 3-3.
