The Hillcrest Trojans held off the visiting Chaparral Pumas volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Trojans now have a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Covina for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 8.

The Pumas (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Santiago (Corona, CA). The Sharks enter the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Santiago was nudged by Hillcrest (Riverside, CA), 3-2, in a non-league test.
