March 5, 2022: Whittier, CA 90601 The Whittier Cardinals held off the visiting San Dimas Saints volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cardinals now have a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arcadia for a non-league test on Saturday, March 5. Whittier will confront a Apaches team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Maranatha (Pasadena, CA). The Apaches record now stands at 3-0.
The Saints (3-7) will now prepare for their test against La Mirada (La Mirada, CA). The Matadores enter the non-league test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, La Mirada was nudged by Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
