The Matadors now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Christian for a non-league game on Saturday, March 5. San Gabriel will meet a Defenders team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Pacifica Christian/Orange County (Newport Beach, CA). The Defenders record now stands at 4-0.
The Heralds (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Pioneer (Whittier, CA). The Titans enter the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Pioneer was dropped by El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
